The Role
Millbrook Resort has an iconic and award winning 36-hole champion golf course, which is renowned as world-class in terms of design, beauty and is well-known for co-hosting the NZ Open. The Millbrook Golf Shop is the hub and start line of all golf activity on the resort. The Golf Operations Supervisor will support the Golf Operations Manager with the day-to-day operation of the golf shop and the department including taking responsibilities of the daily golf shop and golf operation when the manager is not present. The role will support golf services to add value to all aspects of Millbrook golf operations. Ensuring that guest expectation levels are met and exceeded, resulting in future return business. Also, responsible for ensuring all operations are carried-out in a professional manner, including cleanliness and presentation of facilities and equipment.

Success Profile
- At least one year of experience working in golf retail or operations is essential.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Great communication skills, coupled with a "can do" attitude.
- Impeccable grooming standards.
- Strong knowledge of the game of golf is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
- Driver's License advantageous.
Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown.
Hours: Full time permanent (30/40 hours per week guaranteed)
Pay Banding: $28.18 - $30.00 gross per hour depending on experience.

I would like to say that I have a democratic approach to leadership. Involving my team as much as possible to participate in decision making, creating a smooth and open team dynamic.

What is your favourite aspect of working in the Golf Team?
Over the last few years, we have managed to create a dedicated team of staff that have stayed on through several seasons. All staff are friendly and work hard to get the best out of each other.
