The Role
We have an extensive range of luxury accommodation and experience at Millbrook Resort, the purpose of the role is to maximise revenue and profitability of the room sales, coupled with delivering a superior guest experience and assisting the reservations team with meeting and exceeding sales targets. We are looking for someone with the ability to work efficiently in a busy office environment and has a passion for delivering unique and memorable guest experiences. We are a collaborative team, delivering a high-end bespoke reservation service, which requires strong communication and interpersonal skills both over the phone and via email.
What does your Office look like?
A day in the life of a Reservations Sales Agent starts with a team brief to communicate tasks and a plan for the day. The phone line is live from 9am to 5pm every day and is busy throughout the day, our Reservations Sales Agents are ready and prepared to take these calls as they come in and provide a five-star guest experience to all callers. The inbox is also busy with guest enquiries for new reservations, assistance with existing reservations and internal enquiries - all of which are replied to within a 24-hour time frame to uphold our five-star guest service experience. In between guest interactions there are projects and reports that are worked on and developed.
Success Profile
- Reservations experience in five-star hotel / resort
- Experience with Opera reservations system is highly desirable
- Outstanding administration skill set, as well as a strong sales focus with a proactive approach
- High level of attention to detail and exceptional time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills, coupled with a "can do" attitude
- Passion for service delivery at a five-star level
- Maturity, initiative and confidence - ability to work in a challenging environment
- Flexible to work weekends and public holidays
- Able to work Tuesday to Saturday OR Wednesday-Sunday as a standard week
- Enjoys working within a small team, and thrives working under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Describe your leadership style?
I love to work alongside my team and together create a positive work environment. I believe it is crucial to know each of your team members and where they are at their best to allow them to perform, as well as giving everyone a space to grow and develop their skills.
What do you enjoy most about working at Millbrook?
My number one is certainly the team we have, such an interesting bunch of individuals coming from all parts of the world with different cultures and hobbies. I also love the opportunity for growth and development here... and obviously, the scenery!
What are some of your favourite aspects of working in the Front Office department?
Again, the team makes the Front Office department such an enjoyable team to be part of. I also love taking care of our guests and finding creative ways to make their stay more memorable. Not one day is the same!
