The Role
The IT Systems Engineer provides support to the IT Manager, as well as timely and accurate IT support and solutions to the resort. Due to the nature of this business, the requirements of team members and demands of guests this role must be flexible to effectively meet all internal and external client expectations.
Success Profile
- Experience in hospitality technical support or similar busy customer centric environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and e-mail use
- In-depth knowledge of core Millbrook IT systems, including Agilysys and Exchange.
- Proven ability and desire to provide timely practical solutions.
- Strong communication skills coupled the ability to explain IT problems and solutions in simple terms.
- Excellent time management, problem solving and organisational skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced working environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Able to work in a team and ability to take direction and provide regular feedback.
- Able to work sole charge and unsupervised on allocated tasks and in providing support to the business.
- Exceptional customer service skills for dealing with internal customers, external suppliers, and guests.
- Recognise potential problems and identify actions, including escalation where appropriate to senior IT staff or third-party vendors as appropriate based on business priority and scope of current skills.
- Must have a clean NZ Driver's Licence.
Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown.
Hours: Full time permanent (40 hours per week guaranteed)

There are a variety of tasks that the IT team will work on throughout the day. A few of these include:
- Install/upgrade or replace systems.
- Document work and provide guides for team members
- Collaborate on projects with departments.
- Attend meetings with other departments or management.
