The Role

Millbrook Resort is New Zealand's leading lifestyle resort. Our mission is to be recognized as world-class and achieve excellence in all aspects of our business.

The Assistant Accountant reports to the Finance Manager and supports the team with day-to-day sound financial advice and guidance, whilst supervising the accounts payable and receivable roles. The Assistant Accountant is responsible for the month end process and balance sheet reconciliations and works collaboratively across all levels of the business.

Success Profile

• Ideally qualified or part-qualified in accounting. Equivalent qualifications or experience will also be considered.
• High level of attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and able to multitask and manage priorities.
• Excellent numeracy and IT skills.
• Strong communication skills, coupled with a ‘can do' attitude and a team player.
• Resilient and able to respond to a variety of situations with a collaborative and flexible approach.

Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown.

Hours: Full time permanent (40 hours per week guaranteed)
