Overview

Set on 650 acres of lush green fairways, rolling hills and gentle streams, Millbrook Resort is an internationally acclaimed, luxury lifestyle resort.

We seek a front office specialist like yourself who is passionate about the guest experience and providing an authentic five-star delivery to come and join our team!

The Role

We have an extensive range of luxury accommodation at Millbrook Resort, and our Front Office team's goal is to create a truly unique and personable guest experience. We take pride in surprising and delighting our guests through thoughtful touches and by building genuine connections throughout their stay.

Our Front Office team is a high-performing, diverse, and passionate group of people who work collaboratively to deliver the highest standard of service.

The Guest Services Supervisor role is central to welcoming our guests while guiding and supporting the team throughout the day. In this position, you will take ownership of your own weekly tasks, while working closely with our Guest Services Managers to ensure the whole team delivers exceptional service every day.

You will also play a key role in training and mentoring team members, helping them to grow and succeed in their roles. This position also provides leadership opportunities, as you will occasionally step in for the Guest Services Manager—leading shifts, making key decisions, and resolving guest complaints with professionalism and care.

Success Profile

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Minimum of one year's experience in guest relations, ideally within a five-star environment
  • Strong guest service and communication skills, with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A natural leader who leads by example and motivates others to perform at their best
  • Professional, confident, and immaculately presented at all times
  • Knowledge of Agilysys System (Versa, Engage, Spa, Sales & Catering) is an advantage
  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Experience in training and supporting team members, with a strong commitment to teamwork
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to respond calmly and effectively to a variety of situations
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts as required
  • A full, clean driver's licence is necessary - P Endorsement advantageous

Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown

Hours: Full-time permanent (30 / 40 hours per week guaranteed)

Pay Banding: $27.00 - 29.66 gross per hour depending on experience
