As a Housekeeping Self-Checker, you will be responsible for creating unforgettable guest experiences — from offering a warm welcome to ensuring every detail is flawless. You will work alongside a supportive, collaborative team, delivering personalized service across the resort, including our luxury villas, award-winning spa, Health & Fitness Centre, and exceptional dining venues.
What will your day look like?
- Performing check-out cleans, making beds, scrubbing bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and restocking supplies.
- Servicing occupied rooms to maintain a fresh, welcoming environment for returning guests.
- Upholding high cleanliness standards in both guest spaces and public areas.
- After completing hands-on tasks, conduct detailed inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure they meet Millbrook's five-star standards.
- Providing guidance and feedback to team members based on inspection results, supporting consistency and excellence.
- Assisting with training new team members and reinforcing best practices to support our Housekeeping Supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.

Success Profile
- Previous experience in housekeeping or quality control within a five-star hotel or luxury resort environment desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and passion for maintaining high standards.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team culture.
- Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role that involves movement and manual handling.
- Reliable, proactive and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
- Drivers license advantageous.
Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown
Pay Rate: $26.00 - 29.50 gross per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Full-time permanent and fixed term seasonal positions available (30 hours per week guaranteed)
