The Role
Millbrook Resort is New Zealand's leading lifestyle resort. Our mission is to be recognized as world-class and achieve excellence in all aspects of our business. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO provides strategic and operational leadership across Finance, IT and Corporate Governance. Working alongside the Board of Directors, this role is hands-on and visible, driving business performance improvement across our operations.
You'll lead financial planning, budgeting, and risk management, ensure robust governance and compliance, and partner with operational leaders to deliver data-driven insights and commercial strategies that enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications and Experience
- CA or CPA qualification and relevant tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Minimum 10 years' senior financial leadership experience, ideally in complex or multi-faceted organisations.
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Governance).
- Deep understanding of compliance, risk management, and governance in a New Zealand context and IFRS.
- Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and capital project management.
- Desirable: Exposure to hospitality/tourism/property sectors, global governance frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives.
